at the homepage of Oberammergauer Markt- und Eventgemeinschaft GdbR The 2009 for the first time carried out Christmas Market was so successful that a continuation was completely unquestionable. Not only local residents but also a lot of visitors from far and wide were deeply impressed of this new established Christmas Market, even the Bavarian TV was for one hour live on the spot. Due to this big success and also with regard to further planned more markets and events the organizers decided to found this new company. As mentioned already in the name of this company it is the intention to organize not only the Christmas Market but also further markets and events. Accordingly it is planned for 2011 to organize at the same time as the already existing Trade Easter Market in the Ammergauer Haus an Easter- and Potter Market as well as a King-Ludwig-Market. Perhaps it is possible to organize in future more different events (eventual Mai- or Autom Market) as well as automobile days in Oberammergau would be possibly an interesting option. We have a lot of ideas, but they have to be reasonable and realistically. Since the Passion Play takes place in 2010 we will have only the Christmas Market and in the year after we organize for the first time in Oberammergau the Easter-Potter Market as well as the King-Ludwig-Market on the occasion of the 125th day of King Ludwig II death. This homepage will be up to date for all visitors and inform you about all activities, dates, etc. in text, picture and video. With a mouse click you can also reach easily the main portal of Oberammergau as well as the Ammergauer Alpen or one of the many partners - just look!
